ISEET Proposed by Ministry of Education for 2013

ISEET the common engineering entrance test for all engineering colleges including iit, nit, iiit, and all national funding engineering colleges proposed by the ministry of education from the year 2013. hence the present iit, aieee, and other engineering entrance test which are available in our country over 150 engineering tests are going to be replaced with the proposed ISEET. this is not going to affect the present 10 + 2 Candidates and is going to be placed with effect from April or May 2013. the examination will be conducted twice a year, once in november, and the other in April. this was supported by most educational councils with the statment "it is going to be initiated to reduce the stress levels of the entrance examinations and to remove the confusal state of the student the test which he has to attempt over the number of tests available."

the present student should also concentrate on his regular academic subjects to secure the maximum score as there will be 40% weightage to the +2 Percentage. the proposed weightage to the national funding engineering colleges are as follows

Main and +2 - 50%,
Advanced - 50%

this may not affect the present common engineering test which are conducted state level. if it affects the weightage to the admission in state engineering colleges is expected as follows

+2 - 40%
Main - 40%
Advanced - 20%.

Main - Reasoning and general aptitude.
Advanced - Common course subjects ( Maths, Physics, Chemistry).

ISEET will be administered by CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education ). the advanced paper will be set and assesed by IIT Staff. so the difficulty level in the proposed examination will be maintained as earlier examinations.
