Mahindra Logan Renamed As it's New Version Mahindra Verto.
There is no changes in it. Just renamed it, thus keeping up with the tradition at Mahindra where names of cars always end with an ‘O’. Mahindra still have the rights to produce the Logan and the re-badging was looking inevitable. Now, Mahindra produce the Logan without any intervention from Renault-Nissan. It is an Just Change in Brand Naming. The Verito will be an entry-level mid-sized sedan for the masses. The main rivals of the Verito will be the Tata Indigo CS which is priced around the same bracket as the Verito.
The Verito comes with a 1.4 litre and 1.6 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engines and is priced from Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 6.45 lakh ex-showroom Pune. The diesel motor of the Verito is extremely torquey and has a nice low- end grunt which allows for hassle- free driving.
M&M’s statement today Didn't elaborate on whether the Renault brand has also been dropped from the Logan showrooms.
