Test cricket back to Hyderabad after 22 years
Two back to back International cricket matches in Vizag and Hyderabad...
Now Hyderabad will hosting the 2nd Test match between India vs New Zealand at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Uppal from November 12th to 16, and putting Hyderabad in test Cricket map back in the Test fold after nearly 22 years. BCCI announced the decision at the annual general meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India in Mumbai on Wednesday.
When BCCI were given the option to prefer a Test to a one-dayer, HCA opted for the Test since the BCCI policy says that no center can host both the Test and the one-dayer on the same tour. HCA are going to unveil grand plans to celebrate the return of Hyderabad to Test fold as all the big-wigs of BCCI will be special invitee. HCA are going to finalise all the details within a few days in this regard.
