BSNL also offered under mobile number portability (MNP) additional talk value of Rs.100 in addition to the normal free talk value for prepaid connection and 50 per cent rebate in the fixed monthly charge of first month after port-in for post-paid connection.

On approval of the porting request, the new mobile service provider will inform the date and time for changing the SIM. The automatic migration process to BSNL network will be completed within a week.
